"Position: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Med Surg/Tele 
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift: Days & Nights both are available
Weekend requirements: Every other weekend
Contract: 13 weeks with high possibility of extension
Pay range: $2500 to $2700 weekly.

Responsibilities:

Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans. Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements. • Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment. • Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists. • Maintaining and updating ward charts, patient files, and medical records. • Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans. • Collaborating with healthcare specialists and reporting changes and deteriorating conditions. • Explaining tests results and procedures to patients and their families, as well as answering questions. • Advising patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.

Requirements:

• 2 years current MS experience 
• Tele experience required
• Willingness to float- Required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion STRONGLY REQUIRED
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred 
• BLS AND ACLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. Facility will not pend either of these certifications.
• AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. "ANYTIME" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
