Description
Our exciting Study Holidays welcome groups of young students (aged 10-18) from overseas every summer. As well as learning English, they participate in activities, including sports tournaments, discos, arts & crafts, drama workshops, quiz nights, and visit fun places of interest. That's where you come in.
As one of our Summer Camp Staff, you'll take on lots of exciting duties, from taking part in activities to supporting our students' well-being. It will provide you with an unforgettable experience and a well-earned paycheck.
Stafford House Study Holidays is an English Language school hosted by our state-of-the-art CATS Academy Boston high school located in Braintree, MA. These jobs are residential, so no matter where you live, you can apply to be part of the fun this summer.
Here's some more of what's involved:

• You'll lead and participate in fun activities throughout the day and evening, including sports, arts, and games.
• Lead excursions to places of interest and attractions in and around the Greater Boston and New England area
• Stay at the residence each night, supporting our students. This will include during mealtimes as well as caring for their well-being in general, while resolving any issues they may have
• Taking care of their check-in/out process and with room turnarounds (coordinating with housekeeping

What does it take to be a Study Holiday Residential Assistant/Residential Activity Leader?

• Be creative and energetic and enjoy taking on a new challenge
• Be confident, with great organizational skills
• We are unable to sponsor applicants. You must have the legal ability to work in the United States
• You must be available to work evenings and weekends, as this is a fun and fully immersive experience
• Our students' customer experience is very important, so you will need to be customer-focused with a confident, accountable personality
• We take safeguarding very seriously. We are looking for people who are responsible, understanding, and respectful toward young people and different cultures
• You must be available throughout July 2024
• Familiarity with the Boston/New England area would be beneficial
• Previous experience in the industry (ESL, summer youth programs) would be desirable

Salary Description

$17.85 to $19.43 an hour
