Qualifications/Experience:

Master’s degree with coursework in education, teaching, administration, or related field and experience working in a school environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minnesota Teaching License required.

Administrator’s license preferred.

Successful background check required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:

Leadership, positive communication and interpersonal skills, collaboration, knowledge of Minnesota state standards, experience with data extraction, reporting and analysis, demonstrated knowledge of database design and data techniques, ability to problem solve, maintain an effective, positive and professional working relationship with associates, students, and general public.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, attention to detail, ability to accommodate frequent interruptions, coordination within the department to ensure deadlines are met, ability to analyze complex data, receive, interpret, and synthesize detailed information.

Specific Tasks:

Lead the development, implementation, and management of student data and assessment information systems. Coordinate the acquisition, extraction, transformation, storage, security, analysis, and reporting of data. Support the Strategic Plan. Work collaboratively with various members of district leadership teams to interpret and share critical student performance data and satisfy operational and regulatory data requirements. Provide work direction to academic coaches and school assessment coordinators.
