Job Title: Culinary Apprentice Line Cook 

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports to: Restaurant Chef

This role is in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association’s Apprenticeship Program. The Line Cook Apprentice is responsible for producing recipes to specifications while maintaining a clean, neat, and organized kitchen. How I can Create Guests for Life: 

• Prepare recipes to specifications.
• Know and complies consistently with Camelback's standard portion sizes, serving methods, quality standards, and safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Assist other Food and Beverage Team members with the daily outlet operations, to ensure smooth shifts and positive guest/Team experiences.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.

Is this the job for me:

• 18 years of age or older
• Basic cooking skills including knife handling.
• Basic math skills for adapting recipe quantities as needed.
• Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. 
• Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. 
• Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus. 
• Must be willing to be part of a formal restaurant apprenticeship in partnership with the PA Restaurant & Lodging Association.
