Camp Bow Wow® is North America’s largest provider of pet care services through premier doggy day, overnight Camps, training, and grooming.

The Camp Bow Wow San Diego Midway, located at 3146 Sports Arena Blvd San Diego CA 92110, is opening soon and seeking qualified people interested in joining the best provider of pet care services in North America.

Position available: shift lead -must be available to work morning/evenings as well as weekends. The Shift Leads oversee all camp functions during their shift, ensuring a safe environment and positive experience for the dogs and dog parents.

Primary Responsibilities of the Shift Lead:

· Monitor dogs in play yard and staff during the shift.

· Feeding, cleaning cabins, lifting heavy items.

· Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members.

· MAINTAINING A SAFE and CLEAN ENVIRONMENT!

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Managing dog schedules, opening or closing the day.

· Checking in and out dogs.

· Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times.

· Front desk administrative duties of data entry, computer maintenance, phone calls, filing and updating client information.

· Promote and sell baths/grooming, day care and boarding packages

· Serving as the main point of contact during the shift

· Other duties as needed

Essential Skills

· Experience with dog care and/or pet care industry

· Experience with overseeing people and time management

· Exceptional customer service skills.

· Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment.

· MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!!!!!!!!

 Requirements for all positions:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

· At least 18 years or older.

· Legally permitted to work in the USA.

· Job requires lifting dog food and supplies, up to and in excess of 25 pounds.

· Job requires regular, consistent walking, stooping, and/or standing during the entire shift consistent with dog care.

PLEASE NOTE – peanuts and other food related items are on site, and staff will be exposed to dog hair and other dog byproducts!

All positions are part-time, hourly based and must be available for 6.5 hours shifts. Our hours of operation are 7 days a week (630-730), including weekends and holidays. Consistent and regular shifts are preferred; however, time off can be accommodated with advance notice. Weekly schedules are a minimum of 2 shifts (12 hours) per week.

Shift Leads starting rate is $18.00 per hour.
