Camp Bow Wow in Charleston, SC is looking for one camp counselor (dog attendant) to join our 20 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

*Supervise and interact with dogs in both indoor and outdoor play areas. *Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times. *Maintain a clean and organized facility, including cleaning up after dogs maintaining cleanliness standards. *Provide basic grooming and feeding as needed. *Monitor group play and intervene as necessary to maintain a safe and positive environment. *Administer medications and follow special instructions for individual dogs as directed by their owners. *Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pet's activities and behavior.

Qualifications

• High school diploma

Requirements:

*Passion for working with dogs and providing exceptional care. *Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. *Excellent communication and customer service skills. *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. *Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. *Previous experience working with dogs preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13-$15 per hour plus tips

Expected Hours: 25-40 per week

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $15.00/hour.
