Job Summary:

The After-School Program Site Director at Camp Success Academy is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our after-school programs. This role ensures that all activities are conducted in a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. The Site Director will lead a team of dedicated staff, develop program curriculum, and foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of all after-school activities and events.
  • Ensure programs are aligned with Camp Success Academy’s mission and educational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to improve quality and engagement.
  • Staff Supervision:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
  • Student Engagement:
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Develop and implement activities that promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Address and manage any behavioral issues in a constructive and supportive manner.
  • Parent and Community Relations:
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and program updates.
  • Organize and participate in community outreach and engagement activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, school administrators, and community partners.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Manage program budget and resources efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations with grace and efficiency.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
