Position: Academic Success InternDepartment: Academic AdvisingStatus: Full TimePosition SummaryThe Academic Success Intern is a valuable member of the Academic Success team and plays a crucial role in the unit’s efforts to meet the goals and mission of Campbell University. This position directly supports students’ successful transition and persistence to degree completion at Campbell, by facilitating major exploration advisement programming and leading success coaching initiatives for the entire undergraduate population. This is a 9-month position (August-April), approximately 20-25 hours per week (not to exceed 25), and may include evenings or weekends, as dictated by the demands of the Office of Academic Success. The position offers the opportunity for hybrid work. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support services to the Office of Academic Support
Facilitate major exploration assessments, advisement, and programming for undergraduate students in individual and group settings
Deliver academic success coaching, including appropriate referrals to campus resources and educational opportunities
Supervise a team of approx. 8-12 undergraduate academic coaches, including facilitation of training and evaluation of practice
Keep accurate records of student contacts and maintain confidentiality, as appropriate
Assist with special projects or events that may arise in the course of the academic year
Availability to work occasional evenings/weekends/holiday breaks
Maintain a professional appearance (business casual attire) and demeanor at all times
Uphold and abide by all policies, procedures, and regulations established by the Office of Academic Success and Campbell University

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree required
Must be enrolled, and actively participating in, a graduate or professional program related to position responsibilities and must maintain satisfactory progress toward that degree
Comprehensive computer skills and experience, with the ability to quickly learn technology platforms for student success, including Colleague, Blackboard, Starfish, and TypeFocus

Responsible, dependable, and conscientious
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, prioritize, and meet set deadlines
