Job Description Summary

House-people will be required to help in laundry, clean cups, sweep sidewalks, sweep up spiderwebs and outside doormats, assist Cart-Drivers by carrying linens, prepare rooms by stripping and periodically checking on pool towels as necessary.

Bed Makers will be trained to make beds and work in detail. Making a bed with attention to detail will require ensuring all the beds are stretched out, pillows placed correctly and neatly on the beds, and ensuring all beds are done in the correct order. If there are not any rooms to start with Bed makers will be required to help sweep sidewalks, dust hallways, and vacuum hallways.

Physical requirements:

• Able to safely lift 50 pounds, carry loads upstairs, and lift items over your shoulder.
• Constantly pull, bend, lift, and kneeling
• Climbing stairs constantly
• Constantly walking up to 6 to 7 hours.

Essential Functions:

• Arrive to work in a clean, neat uniform, well-groomed and ready to work.
• Clock in and inquire where you will begin to work.
• Create an atmosphere that makes Campbell’s a pleasant place to work.
• Be a team player, showing enthusiasm while helping others.
• In the course of your employment, you may be exposed to confidential information related to guests; such information should not be disclosed or discussed with anyone other than your director or Human Resources.
• Prepare rooms for room cleaners by removing linens, trash, dirty towels, and garbage from rooms.
• Mattress-flipping needs to be done according to the supervisor's schedule.
• Make beds according to housekeeping standards.
• Sweep sidewalks and outside doormats.
• Be familiar with and follow procedures listed in job standards and the housekeeping manual.
• Periodically check on pool towels—communicate with staff when pool towels are needed and brought dirty linens to the parking level for Cart Drivers.
• Assist Cart Drivers by carrying linens and supplies to work areas for room cleaners.
• Clean rooms and other public areas to required standards and within time requirements as needed.
• Help carry linens and supplies to work areas. Assist the main laundry as needed.
• You must be familiar with cell phones.
• Availability to communicate with different departments.
• Maintain your work stations by cleaning and restocking daily.
• Be knowledgeable about Campbell's services and history and Lake Chelan recreational opportunities to answer guests' questions.
• Act as a team member: show enthusiasm and help other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Act as a role model for other staff.
• At the end of your shift, follow procedures listed in job standards.
• Suggest improvements to managers.
• It works in both places; Campbell’s Resort and Midtowner Motel.
• Help ensure all public areas are presentable by mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming.

Types of position and hours of work:

This is a variable-hour position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adapt schedules to meet business demands.
