The Senior Manager of Logistics and Transportation Finance is responsible for the financial leadership of Logistics and the distribution network optimization across the Meals and Beverage division of Campbell Soup Company. This role is instrumental in providing cost visibility to leaders, helping to manage logistics contracts, prices, and terms and conditions, and will lead all financial planning analysis responsibilities that support our Integrated Business Planning process. This position will report to the Senior Director of Supply Chain Finance and will partner with the VP of Logistics and transportation to ensure business unit financial targets and performance are in line with expectations and driving corporate objectives. In addition, this position leads company-wide strategic initiatives inclusive of designing the digital roadmap for Logistics and Transportation.

**Essential Job Duties**

* Responsible for all forecasting, budgeting and financial leadership relating to total Meals and Beverage logistics and transportation including Transportation, warehousing/distribution, and repack (~$500MM spend).

* Partner with Supply Chain leadership team to identify and deliver upon Logistics and distribution network optimization initiatives across Meals and Beverage.

* Work closely with Supply Chain partners across the end to end network to develop business cases and key strategic decisions on the future of the network footprint

* Build financial tracking and reporting mechanism tied to operational performance. Serve as a finance partner in building network cost models for existing and future network designs

* Has overall responsibility of Logistics and Transportation controls, financial performance and directly leads financial analytics and reporting activities for the entire Meals and Beverage Logistics and Transportation network.

* This individual will lead the Distribution Finance team on annual budgets, forecasts, long range planning and other operational modelling tools as well as drive Freight analytics to optimize service and cost

* Prepares accurate weekly and monthly reporting using current and developing new key performance indicators (i.e., truck efficiency, market conditions, Case fill, etc.)

* Defines and implements insightful analysis of results underpinning forward looking forecasts, challenges assumptions and leads the team in achieving goals.

* Reviews the P/L to identify favorable and unfavorable performance and communicates the findings.

* Partners with Supply Chain leadership team and Logistics and Transportation team to help identify and ensure delivery of all logistics productivity programs.

* Mentors team members by providing guidance and direction to help them reach their full potential and grow their careers.

* Ensures effective financial internal controls; develops, recommends, and implements company-wide accounting manufacturing policies and procedures. Ensures that accounting records and reports are in compliance with GAAP and government regulations.

* May perform other duties as required based on the critical priorities affecting the business.

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**

* Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

* Strong critical thinking skills

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).

**Education and Experience**

* Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting

* Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a management role recommended

* Masters Degree or CPA preferred.

* Supply Chain experience is preferred.

* Familiarity with Consumer-Packaged Goods manufacturing & distribution a big plus.
