Job Summary: A Pressure Washing Technician at Camvie Services, you will be responsible for performing pressure washing services to clean and maintain various surfaces, including buildings, sidewalks, driveways, decks, and vehicles. This role involves operating pressure washing equipment, understanding different cleaning techniques, and ensuring quality results while adhering to safety standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Pressure Washing Operations: Using pressure washing equipment, such as power washers, surface cleaners, and wands, to clean and remove dirt, grime, mold, mildew, stains, and other contaminants from surfaces. Adjusting water pressure, nozzle settings, and cleaning solutions as needed to achieve desired results without causing damage.

2. Surface Preparation: Preparing surfaces for pressure washing by removing obstacles, debris, and loose materials. Applying cleaning solutions, detergents, or pre-treatment agents to enhance the effectiveness of the pressure washing process and loosen stubborn stains.

3. Project Assessment: Inspecting surfaces to be cleaned and assessing the level of dirt, stains, and surface damage. Identifying any areas requiring special attention or techniques, such as delicate materials or sensitive surfaces.

4. Customer Service: Interacting with clients to understand their pressure washing needs and preferences. Providing estimates, scheduling appointments, and addressing any questions or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage during pressure washing operations. Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and hearing protection as required. Ensuring proper ventilation and containment of cleaning solutions.

6. Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of pressure washing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Checking hoses, nozzles, pumps, and filters for damage or wear and replacing or repairing components as needed. Keeping equipment clean, organized, and properly stored.

7. Environmental Considerations: Handling and disposing of cleaning solutions, wastewater, and other waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations and best practices. Using eco-friendly or biodegradable cleaning products when possible to minimize environmental impact.

8. Documentation and Reporting: Recording job details, including service provided, time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered. Generating invoices, receipts, or work orders for billing purposes. Communicating with supervisors or management regarding job progress and any customer feedback or concerns.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in pressure washing or similar field preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with pressure washing equipment, tools, and techniques.

- Ability to operate and maintain pressure washing machinery safely and effectively.

- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality results.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for certain positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.74 - $20.43 per hour
