Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location : Toledo, OH

Shift Breakdown :

3) 1st Shift : 6 AM 6 PM

2) 3rd Shift : 6 PM 6 AM

Wage Rate : $25 an hour

Job Summary :

We are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Toledo, OH. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.

This is a temp-to-hire position, offering the opportunity for long-term employment based on performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Replace defective parts, motors, belts, bearings, and other components.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Provide support for machine installations and upgrades.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.

Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Technical degree or Journeyman Card preferred.
• Good electrical and mechanical skills, as demonstrated through an aptitude test.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience preferred, especially in the automotive industry.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic arms, welding, basic fabrication, and overall machine troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and systems up to 110 volts.
• Familiarity with complex machinery, electrical circuits, and plant operating equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial, mechanical, electrical codes, techniques, and standards.
• Familiarity with government regulations for industry and safe work practices related to machine repair.
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral.

Physical Demands :

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand continuously with occasional walking and sitting.
• Perform a wide range of physical activities, including pushing and pulling objects up to 30 lbs, reaching, bending, and squatting.
• Maintain a sense of urgency, self-motivation, and a good work ethic while performing tasks safely.
