Job Summary
Performs routine and complex Neurodiagnostic studies, according to ABRET Laboratory standards. Participates in cross-training to achieve competency in specialized Neurodiagnostic procedures. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age, developmental stage, and special needs of the patients served.Essential Functions
Education, Experience and CertificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; graduate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic program with 3 years of experience preferred. BLS required. EEG registry or eligibility for EEG registry preferred. Board eligibility for ABRET certification in EEG is required within 2 years of hire, and completion of ongoing departmental requirements for EEG board registry preparation is required within 3 years of hire. Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills with experience in dealing with sensitive issues/situations, and conflict resolution. Ability to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and Guidelines.
