We have an opening for an HR Generalist with a growing Medical Courier. Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a contract basis. This role is critical in supporting the recruitment and onboarding of drivers, ensuring a seamless transition from candidate selection to operational deployment.

Job Type: Contract (3-6 months)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage job postings and screen applicants for various positions within the company.
• Process background checks, drug screens, and MVR reports for prospective employees using 3rd party software.
• Facilitate the onboarding process, guiding candidates through initial training and preparation before they are handed over to the operations team.
• Address and resolve any HR-related issues or disciplinary matters promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Familiarity with handling background checks, drug screenings, and MVR reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle HR issues with discretion and professionalism.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
