ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the front desk and housekeeping supervisors assisting them with concerns or needed repairs.

• Check daily maintenance log for rooms out of order or in need of repair – take necessary action

• Check all equipment in guest rooms and public facilities to ensure all are working properly and in good condition.

• Check outdoor areas to ensure cleanliness, trash pick up, lights, flags, gazebo grill area, landscaping, building and eqipment are all in working order.

• Check with the front desk and housekeeping supervisor for additional concerns or repairs.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance for the day.

• Additional tasks may include painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, minor furniture repair & touchup, assist housekeeping with deep cleaning of rooms, stock housekeeping storage rooms, all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience or similar

• Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.

• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

EDUCATION: High school diploma

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand; use hands, and reach with hands and arms.

• The employee is frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
