patient status for when the doctor arrives. * Educate patients and parents on directions for the usage and care of appliances. * Following proper infection control preparing chairs for the next patient as well as sterilization of instruments * Learn to work on your own to remove elastics and wires from the brackets before the doctor sees the patient, and place new elastics and wires afterward. * Taking detailed patient notes for current and planned procedures. * Maintaining, organizing, and re-stocking the clinic area for each day. * Prepare the clinic for specific scheduled procedures that day as well as relevant patient materials. * Cross-train in other aspects of the office (i.e. answering phones, taking clinical pictures, intra-oral scanning, impressions). *Desired Characteristics* * Detail oriented * Multi-tasker * Good communicator * Ability to learn new skills * Comfortable working on your own on a patient * Enjoys being part of a team environment in the office Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 34 per week Benefits: * Free parking * On-the-job training * Paid sick time * Paid time off * Paid training Schedule: * Monday to Friday * No weekends Work setting: * In-person * Private practice Experience: * Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: * Certified Dental Assistant (Preferred) * X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: * Rocky River, OH 44116 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Rocky River, OH 44116: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
