Welcome to Cannettic Energy! Our mission is to provide enrichment opportunities that are exciting, energetic and FUN! You make the difference in children’s lives! We are looking for a dedicated Coach that wants to ensure a professional energetic enrichment program.

Our coaches and teachers must have experience teaching students from TK-Middle school. Our teachers and coaches must have experience teaching in a fun, joyful, effective way! negative TB, LiveScan and fingerprints required for this position.

This position requires commitment for the 2024/2025 Oceanside & Vista Unified School District calendar year. You will be an Independent Contractor for Cannettic Energy. Students range from 3rd-8th grade. Must have reliable transportation and a commitment mind set. You must be dependable, reliable and willing to commit to classes for the 2024-2025 school year!

$40 Per hour, 6-7 classes per week (Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday & Fridays). Afterschool Classes start at 2:30-3:15 (3rd-5th grade)

3:15-4:00 (6-8th grade)

You will be responsible for attendance roll call at 2:30. Must be on time and committed to teach two classes Mon-Wed. Options for additional classes on Friday are available.

Other class opportunities, days and times are available. We offer 23 dance/gymnastics/sports/musical theater classes per week in a dance studio in addition to afterschool enrichment programs at local schools and churches.

Description:

Field Hockey is a fun, interactive and engaging class. This class combines dynamic movements and instruction of skills that will be taught and performed throughout the school years session. Team building and laughter creates an unforgettable experience. This class will provide ample opportunities for a growth mind set!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Coach to join our team. As a Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and facilitating engaging learning experiences for our students. This is a rewarding opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver effective lesson plans and instructional materials as needed

- Conduct engaging and interactive Field Hockey sessions up to 7 times per week all school year.

- Provide individualized attention and support to students

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements relevant to the subject area

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Field Hockey coach or similar role

- Strong knowledge of the subject matter

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching
