Quality Technician
Night Shift : work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 3 days (6pm to 6am)
Pay : $22 / hr. with increase opportunities after 120 days
Requirements :
- 1-2 years of experience with quality experience; preferably within the printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP's (21CFR 110 / 111 / 210 / 211)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail is essential
- Ability to work rotating shift 2-2-3-3; including weekends when scheduled
- Prior experience in the food environment is beneficial
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Functions :
- Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.
- Responsible for monitoring processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
- Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.
- Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
- Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.
- Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected real time when feasible.
- Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.
