Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Manager

Salary: $75-80k/yr. Benefits

Shift: 7am to 4pm (Mon-Fri)

Description:

• The Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role ensures the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of goods in and out of the facility, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in warehouse management
• Experience in the food packaging industry is highly desirable but not required
• Strong knowledge of ERP Systems is desired; experience with NetSuite is ideal
• Ability to put processes in place and ensure the processes are followed by staff
• Ability to manage processes and staff is essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate both verbally and orally

Job Details:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shipping & receiving, and warehouse staff
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure a high level of performance
• Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices for shipping and receiving
• Oversee the preparation and shipment of outgoing products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications
• Manage the receipt of incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders
• Coordinate with transportation companies and schedule pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits to ensure stock levels are correct
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is practiced
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock
• Ensure all shipping and receiving activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory status, and personnel performance
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs
