Position: Operations Specialist (Overnight)

Location: Scranton, PA 18507

Contract: 7/29/2024 – 12/31/2024

Schedule: Upon completion of training, normal shift hours will be overnight Monday – Friday, 12 AM – 9 AM.

Pay: $17.78 hourly, paid weekly. (Potential for OT and Weekend Availability)

Training Information: Initial training with happen onsite in Scranton during normal day shift hours from Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM for approximately 6-10 weeks (depending on abilities and performance). After initial training is completed, all additional upskill training will happen during normal overnight shift hours of Monday – Friday, 12 AM – 9 AM.

Conversion to FTE option possible based on performance.

Shift differential offered on top of normal hourly rate of 10% for the kind of shift worked.

Onsite role with 2 days a month remote access pending if the contractor has the necessary internet connections.

(Work From Home standard of 5 days per month after the conclusion of a 3-month training period. Please note our staff work from home posture are privileges, and not guaranteed. They can be revoked if operator performance is not met and maintained at the same standard as in office, or if any disciplinary action concerns arise, etc.)

Position Summary:

• Operations Specialist role will entail the review and manual repair of USD Wire Transfers in a non-call-based environment.
• A high-level attention to detail and pattern recognition is required to successfully implement a strict adherence to our processes and procedures.
• Will be responsible for the day-to-day analysis, research, and resolution of varied problems in the Global Payment Operations department.
• Functions include administering defined procedures, analysis and report generation, and exception processing.
• Coordinates the implementation of operational solutions in our non-call-based environment.
• May assist in documenting, implementing, and monitoring of new processes.
• Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes.
• Incumbents have full working knowledge of operations environment acquired through experience in an operations environment and on the job training.

Required Skills:

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Typing and Data entry experience.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional Customer Service experience.
• Experience with working independently and on teams.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experienced with managing multiple priorities and multi tasks.
• Able to work weekends and overtime when needed.

Desired Skills:

• Previous Wire experience.
• Financial industry experience.
• Accounting experience.

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Use of computers and technology.
