POSITION: Worker's Compensation Paralegal /Hearing Rep

FULLTIME/PARTTIME: Full time

LOCATION: Sherman Oaks, CA (on site)

PAY RANGE: $60k-80k/year

Busy workers' compensation law firm, with an excellent reputation for zealously representing injured workers, is seeking a Hearing Representative/Paralegal with 2 years of experience working within the workers' compensation system. Claims professionals with experience processing WC claims are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:

Manage claims from the initial filing to resolution

Review and rate medical reports

Draft advocacy letters, petitions, and pre-trial statements

Represent applicants at depositions, MSCs and trials

Access value and settle cases

What You Bring:

2 years of experience working within the workers' compensation system

Understanding of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and procedures

Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate claim needs

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong technology skills

Experience as a claims professional a plus
