This is a Sherman Associates owned Hilton franchised location.

This position is responsible for the operations of cleaning rooms, public space cleaning, laundry production and other related areas of the hotel. Work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor to cover days off and train staff, help with scheduling and other duties as assigned.

Schedule: We are currently seeking full-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends.

Essential Functions

  • Clean rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine
  • Cleans rooms, hallways, and restrooms
  • Washes walls and ceiling, moves furniture and turns mattresses
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor
  • Collects soiled linen for laundering
  • Received linen supplies from floor shoots
  • Maintains housekeeping carts
  • Removes trash collected by room attendants
  • Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect trash and linens
  • Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
  • Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other items to the guests room upon requests
  • Perform duties of room attendant when necessary
  • Sort linen, stock room attendant closets
  • Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry
  • Help the room attendants with heavy lifting when super cleaning/spring cleaning of rooms
  • Remove soiled linen and trash from the pool side and other service area and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
  • Assist room attendants with placing bed boards, roll-ways beds, extra bed, etc.
  • Report missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors
  • Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor


Minimum Requirements

  • No prior housekeeping experience required; Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance

  • Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, federal, state and local hotel laws regarding health and safety services
