Canton Salvation Army is Hiring a Maintenance Worker Near Canton, OH
The Salvation Army is currently seeking two Maintenance Worker's to assist our Head of Maintenance with the cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance tasks. The job description will consists of the following:
- Cleaning: Dusting, mopping, lifting boxes (food and supplies), collecting garbage, some yard work, and other cleaning activities that arise.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying issues and reporting to Head of Maintenance any concerns or needed repairs.
- Maintaining: A weekly cleaning schedule of the building - Performing daily the routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on building.
- Inventory: Keep the Head of Maintenance informed of all supplies related to janitor and toiletries supplies for awareness of placing orders.
- Complying with company safety regulations and local and state building codes.
- Collaborating: Working positively with other coworkers, staff, volunteers, and clients to ensuring a positive and encouraging work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in facilities maintenance.
- Able to lift over 25lbs.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures.
- A good work ethic and team player.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 per week
