Job Title: VP, Real Estate Capital Markets Lawyer

Role:

Seeking a securities lawyer for our Asset Management division. Preference for experience with private placements, public offerings, REITs, joint ventures, underwriting and selling agreements, 1933 and 1934 Act and blue sky matters. Experience with independent broker dealer distribution channel (including negotiating selling agreements and interfacing with third party due diligence officers) and private placements via Delaware Statutory Trusts a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Handling securities and corporate governance matters for a public non-traded REIT, privately placed real estate investments and opportunity zone investment vehicles.
• Negotiating selling agreements with brokers and wealth managers for distribution of Cantor’s products.
• Structuring and negotiating complex joint ventures.
• Preparing fund offering documentation.
• Managing outside counsel.
• Working closely with senior management regarding all real estate and other asset management matters, including front office executives, finance, legal, compliance and operations departments.
• Other asset management duties including with respect to mutual funds and private investment vehicles.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required

Salary: $200k – 250k
