Canvus is a manufacturer of functional art made from retired wind turbine blades!
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Avon, OH. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our APEX 3R CNC routers to produce wood seating areas and bases.
Responsibilities
- Read job orders to determine specifications
- Work with composite lumber and synthetic boards
- Set up and adjust machines to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of CNC machinery and tools
- Knowledge of EnRoute a plus
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
