Capabilities Charitable Fund is a small non-profit organization. Our mission and purpose is to advocate for community inclusion, independent living, and equal opportunity for people with disabilities.

The Role:

Capabilities Charitable Fund seeks a part-time (up to 20 hours per week) contracted Executive Director/Grant Writer to lead and identify, define, write, and submit grant proposals to funding agencies to support our mission. Open to an in-house or virtual work environment and flexible schedule.

Qualifications:

• One or more years of successful grant writing, experience in staff leadership, fundraising, partnership development, financial management, marketing and public relations or grant writing.
• Ability to work independently, being a self-starter, meeting proposal deadlines and target dates with excellent writing (Microsoft Work or Google Docs) and verbal skills

Pay: $20.00 per hour
