After being selected you must pass all required background checks and obtain necessary State certification prior to commencing work.

As an Inventory Associate, You will work closely with the Inventory Manager and Inventory Assistant Manager to manage the ever-changing inventory of products in accordance with all rules and regulations put forth by Cape Cod Cannabis and the Cannabis Control Commission.

Qualifications to be an excellent Inventory Associate:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner
• Intermediate-level math skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong computer-based skills
• Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills
• Business-minded personality
• A highly self-motivated and ethical individual
• This employee is required to use a phone and may be required to lift up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Maintain up to date knowledge on products and industry knowledge, including cannabis laws and regulation
• Accountable for accurately utilizing inventory and point of sale systems
• Execute transactions with high attention to detail and ensure data accuracy
• Follow all dispensary protocols including safety protocols
• Complies with all security, safety, and legal requirements
• Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• This job operates in a professional retail store environment
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers

In This Role You Will:

• Assist with the receipt of deliveries, including (but not limited to) the ability to validate quantities, quality, and compliance of all incoming products.
• Verify and input data across digital platforms.
• Audit product levels and changes in inventory on a regular schedule.
• Prepare products for retail sales, as needed (including, but not limited to, folding apparel, applying stickers, printing and affixing labels)
• Assist with packaging and storage.
• Maintain documentation so that information is organized and accessible.
• Follow standard operating procedures diligently.
• Identify errors and make necessary corrections to ensure data is accurate across digital platforms.
• Effectively prioritize tasks to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Follow instructions closely and ask questions to clarify assignments.
