GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cape Cod Community College hosts a grant-funded youth summer program designed for children entering grades 7, 8, and 9. The program is a week-long exploration into hands-on science, engineering and cybersecurity, through fun STEM activities. Children will get to meet and interact with industry professionals, meet new friends, and code an underwater vehicle/drone. The youth program is offered two weeks in a row, Monday - Friday 7/29/24 - 8/2/24 and Monday - Friday 8/5/24 - 8/9/24 from 8:30am-4:30pm.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher Assistant to support our lead instructors in delivering a high-quality educational experience. As a Secondary Teacher Assistant, you will play a crucial role in facilitating classroom activities, providing individual support to students, creating and establishing a student mentorship program, and ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.

COMPENSATION: $40.00 per hour, 37.5 hours for 2 weeks of youth program. An additional 10-15 hours is available prior to the program start date for curriculum preparation and meetings with lead instructors. Grant-funded, non-unit, non-benefited position.
