    Description: On-call as needed K-12 substitute teachers. Substitute teachers are paid $140.00/day for the 2021-22 school year.
    Qualifications: High School diploma. Maine Dept. of Ed. Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Approval is required. See links below for more information.

    Once your completed application has been received a brief interview with a district administrator will be scheduled prior to your becoming eligible to substitute with us. Brief interviews are typically scheduled between September and April, as time permits in the administrator's schedule.

    Cape Elizabeth has three schools; Pond Cove Elementary School, grades K-4; Cape Elizabeth Middle School, grades 5-8; and, Cape Elizabeth High School, grades 9-12.     Cape Elizabeth is a residential community located on the Atlantic Ocean three miles south of Portland, two hours north of Boston, and covers about 15 square miles. It has a population of 9,068 residents living in 3,200 households.
