Responsibilities
- Conducting exploratory analysis including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis (predictive and/or prescriptive) EXDIV
- Structure datasets and conduct feature engineering to transform big data sets into actionable analytical insight.
- Develop algorithms for prediction, recommendation, and optimization using statistics and machine learning
- Develop and present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline such as data science, operations research, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other similar quantitative fields
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Python and/or
- Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, and data mining
- Experience with SharePoint and TEAMS
- Ability to analyze, report, and develop recommendations on data related to operational metrics
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using ADVANA applications such as the External Data Loader (EDL), Databricks, Qlik, Data Robot, etc
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI
- Experience working within the DoD
- Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline such as data science, operations research, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or other similar quantitative fields
