We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Section Supervisor to join our team and oversee the administrative and technical operations of our CORE Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring supply utilization, test analysis, and specimen integrity.
• Overseeing scheduling and staff training.
• Identifying and implementing performance improvement opportunities.
• Evaluating and supporting staff as needed.
• Ensuring efficient workflow within the laboratory and working at an assigned technical bench when necessary.
• Participating in supervisor on-call rotation.

Minimum Requirements

• ASCP or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical lab experience.
• Previous laboratory management experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work assignments logically and independently.
• Well-developed interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Initiative and ability to set and achieve high-performance standards.
• Experience in maintaining QA and QC with necessary documentation of review and corrective action.
• Knowledge of protocols consistent with regulatory and accreditation agencies such as CAP, TJC, CMS, and NJDHSS.
