You support customer-related activities regarding the avionics architecture and the qualification process of different system variants.
You independently revise and prepare the relevant avionics system requirements and qualification documents.
You develop avionics system concepts and system design changes.
You are responsible for problem report analysis and ensuring traceability.
You identify and document key stakeholder needs, overall system capabilities, roles and responsibilities in the project.
YOU CONVINCE US WITH
Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable degree.
5 years work experience in Avionics (military or commercial) Systems Engineering especially in system integration, testing/verification and Model Based Systems.
Relevant knowledge with Airbus Helionix avionics suite, Airbus Helicopters Avionics and EASA / FAA helicopter avionics certification processes are desirable.
Tool knowledge with IBM DOORS and MS Office suite and experience with DOORS DXL writing is considered a strong advantage.
Knowledge and experience with the following tools are preferable: Windchill PDM, Mantis, Serena PVCS (or equivalente), Jira, Idelivery, Confluence, Google Office suite.
Experience with Technical Team coordination (3-5 FTEs) is desirable.
Willingness and ability to carry out a background check in accordance with LuftSiG
7 and to obtain a security clearance Ü2.
Independent and flexible to travel to different customer premises.
Team player and a loyal personality with the ability to communicate clearly and convincingly at eye level.
High level of initiative, flexibility and commitment.
Very good knowledge of English is essential, and very good language skills in one of the following languages - German, Italian, Spanish and / or French - are an advantage.
