Key Responsibilities

• Ability to create and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models.
• Ability to comprehend complex data consumption requirements and define semantic models to support them.
• Ability to understand business & associated data landscape and identify data domains aligned to business capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data requirements.
• Ability to distil complexity strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to get into the details of query performance issues and address them through efficient database design & data modelling.

Required Skills

• 6 of experience with at least 5 years of experience in data modelling.
• Experience of working product teams data engineering teams architecture and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into conceptual logical and physical data models.
• Ability to assess the accuracy completeness and consistency of data models as well as maintaining relevant documentation.
• Experience of working with Data Governance team to identify and capturing business and technical metadata associated with various data entities.
• Experience with data modelling tools and techniques ability to communicate complex data concepts to business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to define data modelling standards and guidelines as well help teams adopt the same Experience in data modelling for complex large-scale & global data driven implementations.
• Strong experience in data modelling activities supporting history handling time series data warehousing & data transformations.
• Experience in understanding of modern data management approaches e.g. Data Lake data mesh data on Azure cloud Databricks.
• Proficiency in any data modelling tool preferably Erwin.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for data modelling and database design.
