Role: Embedded Software Developer Engineer

Work location: Redmond, Washington

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software for terrestrial devices within the project system.
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and code/test coverage.
• Develop embedded software in assembly, C, C , Rust, or other languages.
• Utilize real-time embedded software philosophies and practices.
• Demonstrate expertise with Linux and RTOS.
• Review schematics, use logic analyzers, and apply embedded software (bare-metal) troubleshooting techniques.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience developing embedded software in assembly, C, C , Rust, or other languages.
• Proficiency in embedded software philosophies and practices.
• Expertise with Linux.
• Proficiency in reviewing schematics, using logic analyzers, and applying embedded software (bare-metal) troubleshooting techniques.

Additional Information:

• Experience in low-level communication satellites and Starlink is advantageous.
• Candidates with medical sciences background are highly desirable.
• Criminal background check is required.
