Position Description:

The Digital Solutions Consultant is responsible for the oversight of all activities involving bridging the gap between business requirements and the implementation of technical solutions focused on improving the experience of our customers. They are the person on the team that is involved in all phases of a project, take ownership of a project, and be comfortable working cross functionality. They should be highly organized and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. --The right candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to identify their business needs and documenting and refining user stories to prepare them for development. They will oversee the project life cycle through waterfall and agile workflows, working closely with all supporting roles - developers, testers, and business owners. At times you may take on responsibilities that fall outside of the above scope to support others on the digital experience team, like testing, documentation management, etc.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Coordinate Digital Experience processes to keep stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams in sync and with a similar understanding for technical solutions.
  • Manage tasks and activities involved with a successful implementation of digital enhancements and innovative solutions, keeping projects on schedule. This includes:
    • Evaluating business requirements and translating them into technical requirements for developers.
    • Documenting user stories and writing business requirements
    • Maintaining a project schedule and keeping team member accountable
    • Testing solutions
    • Initiating and leading Digital Experience projects
  • Apply best practices and pursue innovations in digital experience and omni-channel solutions with a focus on refining existing software and implementing modern technologies.
  • Be a liaison for the Digital Experience team, participating in cross-functional and corporate project meetings.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, must be able to convey technical language to other stakeholders often in non-technical terms for those who dont come from an IT background.

  • Ability to cultivate relationships with a variety of internal consumers and external partners.
  • Strong project management and marketing technology knowledge with a keen understanding of broader business needs and strategy.

  • Strong Organizational and time management skills to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Equipped with the skills needed to document requirements and testing scenarios in a waterfall framework.
  • Equipped with the skills needed to document user stories and testing scenarios in an Agile framework.

Knowledge:

  • General awareness of computer software, hardware, and computer languages.
  • Basic understanding of Agile principles and traditional waterfall project practices
  • Strong project management and marketing technology knowledge
  • Basic understanding of content and web development as it relates to digital properties.
  • Familiar with ADA best practices for digital properties.
  • General knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to include journey studio, automation studio, email studio, segmentation of data extensions, and cloud pages.
  • Strong understanding for properly documenting project requirements
  • Strong understanding for properly documenting and refining user stories
  • Basic understanding of reading and analyzing data

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing teams and projects
  • Experience with Agile development practices.
  • Familiarity working with ServiceNow or a similar agile software tool
  • Experience with PC-based software packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS SharePoint)

Education and Certifications:

  • A bachelors degree in business, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field of study Bachelors degree
