Capital Express, is a fast-growing company and leader in the logistics industry for over 35 years. We are seeking an Independent Contractor in the Wichita, KS region. We prioritize exceptional delivery service and are in search of a professional with a proven track record, a commitment to reliability, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-moving setting.

Independent Contractor Location: Wichita, KS Vehicle Requirement: Must own a Cargo Van, specifically a High-top Sprinter or Promaster (strictly no alternatives).

Contract Responsibilities:

• Delivery of products ranging from lightweight plastic totes, office supplies and other misc. products.
• Handling items weighing up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Ensuring timely and efficient delivery services.
• Must be able to pass a background, driving record check, drug screen.

Financials and Insurance:

• Monthly Contract: Approximately $4,000 to $4,500 pre-expenses. Contract based on experience and vehicle.
• Fuel Surcharge: Compensation provided as applicable.
• Insurance: Must maintain liability insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.

Contract Notes:

• Service Route: Approximately 225 miles/day.
• Approximate Hours: 6:00 AM - 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs.
• Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen compliance.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Wichita, KS.
