Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment for team members.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or violations.
- Conduct safety orientation training for the department.
- Take ownership of area Process Audits.
- Manage Non-Conforming Material Reporting within the department.
- Ensure training is completed, and new employees are fully qualified.
- Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide input on corrective actions for abnormal conditions.
- Encourage effective teamwork and communication across departments.
- Provide recommendations on process design and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
- Lead and inspire the manufacturing ream while managing daily departmental operations.
- Ensure operational goals are met and escalate any issues as necessary.
- Participate in area inspections to uphold 5S standards and ensure the team has the necessary resources.
- Promote collaboration and communication between shifts.
- Prioritize and complete work orders, ensuring proper staging within the work area.
- Conducts performance reviews.
- Initiates Progressive Disciplinary.
- Manufacturing leadership experience preferred
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
