Job Description:

Our client is seeking Electricians with 7 years of direct experience for a role in equipment manufacturing within a manufacturing environment in Three Rivers, Michigan. Ideal candidates must have experience working on machines in any industry, with a preference for automotive. Key qualifications include expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, and handling high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24-volt DC circuitry. PLC experience, particularly with Allen Bradley, is essential. Familiarity with the parameters of Program Frequency Drives is important, although control engineers provide support.

AAM Three Rivers is a CNC Machining facility, so experience with CNC machines is highly preferred. Additionally, candidates with experience using Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines will be given priority.

Experience Required

• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment – NOT facilities maintenance.
• Experience industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24-volt DC circuitry.
• Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment, in any industry PLC experience, Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this, but familiarity is important) AAM Three Rivers is a CNC Machining facility, so having CNC experience would be preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines is preferred. Please note that if candidates were heavier on PLCs and lighter on CNCs or vice versa, it would be fine. The candidate should be experienced with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuitry.
• Most importantly, they should be able to show examples of troubleshooting these items. They will be exposed to, but not limited to, 24v DC, 120v, 277v, and 480v circuits.
• Troubleshooting can include proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet and communication issues, motors, drives, relays, etc.

Experience Preferred

• Automotive industry experience is preferred, as well as experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines.
