Job Description:
Manage the Client voice and data network systems. The major duties of the Manager are: to ensure efficient and effective management of the Client Network unit; to plan, implement and monitor local area, wide area, and data center network connectivity for the Client; and to establish and maintain network connectivity with various State agencies.

Skills Required:

• Required: Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in overseeing infrastructure design as a network architect/manager.
• Required: At least 8 years of recent professional work experience providing network services for approximately or more than 10,000 users.

Desired:

• Highly Desired: Around 8 years of experience functioning as an Information Systems leader, acting as the primary point person for large-scale infrastructure design and management.
• Highly Desired: Current role where the contractor has had direct interface with senior leadership to comprehend and moderate business needs for approximately 8 years.
• Highly Desired: Recent mastery of network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies, with a proven track record of approximately 8 years.
• Highly Desired: Excellent project management skills and effective written and oral communication skills, with a history of approximately 8 years in demonstrating these abilities.
• Highly Desired: Proficiency in working with Wireless Access Points, including Cisco, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto, with a solid background of approximately 5 years.
• Highly Desired: Recent experience (approximately 5 years) in working with WiFi, VoIP, Dark Fiber MANs, 10Gig Ethernet, and Cloud Ethernet.
• Desired: Around 5 years of prior experience with network monitoring tools such as WhatsUpGold, SolarWinds, Prime, etc.
• Desired: Approximately 5 years of prior experience with various operating systems, including Windows, Unix, Android, Apple iOS, Cisco IOS, and CatIOS.
• Desired: Prior experience (approximately 5 years) providing vendor management of technical consultants and administration of data centers.
• Desired: Recent experience (approximately 5 years) being responsible for managing $10 million annually in network architecture, projects, and services.
