ABM Mission Critical Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex electrical and mechanical projects in critical facilities. Pay range $100,000-$150,000 Depending on experience level, clearance level, and other factors such as location. Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity, from initial concept through final close-out.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards and procedures for both electrical and mechanical systems.
Act as a central point of contact, effectively communicating with customers, subcontractors, and internal departments to translate project requirements, manage changes, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying potential roadblocks and implementing necessary revisions to keep projects on track.
Oversee site inspections or delegate them to ensure all electrical and mechanical work adheres to project specifications, safety regulations, and building codes.
Facilitate contractor onboarding, including site orientation and training, to guarantee all state and local code requirements, permits, inspections, and close-out processes are strictly followed.
Provide leadership and mentorship to electrical and mechanical personnel, ensuring their competency and adherence to safety protocols.
Achieve exceptional customer satisfaction by clearly communicating project details, both technical and non-technical, to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrate strong project leadership and decision-making skills, consistently delivering projects that meet all stakeholder requirements and are fully commissioned, qualified, and operational.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, completing all necessary documentation.
Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, State Department of Labor, and other relevant codes and guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex electrical and mechanical construction projects in data centers and or critical facilities.
Proven ability to plan, schedule, and execute projects within budget and on time.
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical building systems, codes, and standards (NEC, OSHA, etc.).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
The ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
Ability to get a high-level government clearance, top-secret and above is required.
