REAL ESTATE BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTANT/HR

Capstone Real Estate Group, Inc. is a private real estate investment firm headquartered in Franklin, TN. The company is actively involved in the acquisition and asset management of commercial real estate properties.

Position Description:
The position will be located in Franklin, TN. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and must be familiar with GAAP and human resources responsibilities.

Preferred candidates will possess:

· Commercial real estate experience

· Expertise in QuickBooks and other accounting software

· Attention to detail and strong business acumen.

Broad objectives include, but are not limited to:

• Rent collection and payment of property and office expenses.
• Preparation of necessary management and investor budgets and reports.
• Preparing financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports for lenders

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Processing accounts receivable of tenants, collections of late rental payments
• Processing accounts payable and account reconciliations.
• Production of monthly reports for all accounts showing cash balances with year-to-date and prior year comparison.
• Compiling the property and company budget, which includes rental, fees and other collections from all accounts, less all company expenses projected for the year. Track budget against actual.
• Compile all necessary information to produce annual CAM, Insurance and Property Tax statements and reconciliations.
• Continually review all financial operations and systems of the company to see if there is room for improvement/savings in any area.
• Interface with outside accountant for tax return preparation.
• Prepare property and company Operating Statements, Balance Sheet, Income Statements, Statements of Cash Flow
• Lender and Investor Reporting
• Candidate should also be expected to assist in property and asset management of the properties.

· Human resource responsibilities include but are not limited to; processing payroll, reviewing and administering 401(k) plan and compliance, procure health insurance, review and file form 5500, review and distribute W-2's and maintain employee files

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
