*This position is for a traveling Radiology Technician role with a starting pay of $45 per hour (blended rate), which includes both hourly pay and a nontaxable weekly stipend. Upon completion of the typical 13-week contract, there is also potential for a bonus. Following this initial period, extensions or alternative assignments may be available. **Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray technology
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly and protect them from unnecessary radiation exposure
- Operate X-ray equipment and analyze the images for quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
**Experience:**
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or X-ray Technician
- Must Have ARRT Certification
- Must be BLS Certified
- Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures in various medical settings
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology, urgent care, and nuclear medicine practices
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
