Our healthcare client is looking for a Vice President of Marketing & Communications, a national leadership role responsible for the development and execution of the organization's communications, public relations, and marketing programs.

VP of Marketing & Communications Responsibilities:

• Lead, create, and oversee the execution of all corporate communications, public relations and marketing programs.
• Work closely with executive leadership to further the organization's strategic goals and serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with Government Relations
• Oversee employees responsible for internal communications, strategic partnerships, PR and media relations, digital marketing, social media strategy, executive communications, and more. Communications, Marketing, and Business Development teams have a dotted line to this position.

VP of Marketing & Communications Requirements

• 15 years of corporate communications experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in a large matrix environment and preferably a national health system
• 15 years of experience serving in a leadership role overseeing the marketing and communications function at a c-suite level
• Proven track record of communicating successfully with executives, board members, physicians, elected officials and community stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience in government relations and working with elected officials and stakeholders
• Media relationships with top national news outlets is preferred
• Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills with the ability and desire to build strong relationships across the health system
• Amazing mentoring and coaching skills with experience managing marketing and communications teams and helping their development
• Investor relations experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree

Details:

• Location: MUST go into the office in San Bernardino County, CA 3 - 4 days a week. Relocation assistance will be offered but this hybrid office set-up is a requirement.
• Annual Salary Range: $175,000 - $250,000 (dependent on skillset and experience); additionally, may be eligible for the organization's discretionary bonus program
