A globally prominent and rapidly growing manufacturer of cutting-edge production equipment seeks to expand their Design Engineering team. Due to an influx of exciting new, long-term business, they are seeking to hire an Electrical Design Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, this role will support design and development of electrical and wiring systems and schematics. This is a permanent, direct-hire position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and document industrial wiring systems and electrical schematics.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize electrical design for manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute to the design release process, ensuring all electrical design documentation is complete, accurate, and formally approved before production.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to manufacturing and field service teams as needed.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 2 years of electrical design engineering experience.
• High proficiency with Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
• Significant exposure to the design release phase of the product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, quality standards, and regulations relevant to industrial equipment.
