We are representing an industry leading FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Technical/Quality Director to lead their "flagship" campus due to a recently announced retirement. The Quality Director will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the General Manager while managing a department of (20) over a 1,200 employee/$1B revenue campus.
• Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department (50 associates)
• Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function in addition to oversite over Quality Lab while working cross functionally with different departments (Lab has "Lab Quality Manager)
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
• Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree is preferred for consideration
• Aerospace and/or Metals experience is preferred for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Leadership experience within highly regulated environment
• Experience with AS9100/AS13100 preferred
• Data driven/process oriented
