We are currently hiring a Machine Operator (CNC) for our Bedford, PA Manufacturing Facility. Join us if you are interested in working in a fast paced, financially sound manufacturing environment. Schedule:We are hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift:
- Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
- Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm - 6:00am
- Overtime required

- Self-starting team player with a positive attitude and good communication
- Considers attendance & punctuality a priority
- Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
- Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
- Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
- Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
- Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
- Attention to detail, safety and quality
- Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial
- Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
- Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
- Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
- Physical stamina and strength
- This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position. Employees in this position are subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with CaptiveAire's Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
