Carbon Recall Chattanooga is a leading solar and energy storage installer in the Southeast. We are looking for an electrician to join our team. Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems. Key responsibilities: Carry out installation of solar PV systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, installation of main switches and other standard electrical work. Complete quality checklist for installs. Identify products/components required for projects (e.g. pick lists). Remain up-to-date with requirements and best practice relating to solar PV design and installations and implement changes when necessary to ensure installations meet standards. Help develop best practice guidelines. Adhere to all OSHA requirements. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years experience as an electrician. Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong technical knowledge. Strong project management skills and ability to meet project deadlines (time and budget). Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to prioritize your workload. Installing rigid pipe or EMT. Transformer experience. Working with 480 v, 3 phase. EV charger Installation. Generator Installation. Familiarity with PPE and OSHA. DC circuits up to 1500v. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Journeyman electrician license. Experience working on commercial and industrial solar projects. Knowledge of solar PV systems design and installation. NABCEP Certification.
