Carbon Recall Chattanooga is a leading solar and energy storage installer in the Southeast. We are looking for an electrician to join our team. Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation of solar PV systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, installation of main switches and other standard electrical work.
• Complete quality checklist for installs.
• Identify products/components required for projects (e.g. pick lists).
• Remain up-to-date with requirements and best practice relating to solar PV design and installations and implement changes when necessary to ensure installations meet standards.
• Help develop best practice guidelines.
• Adhere to all OSHA requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience as an electrician.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet project deadlines (time and budget).
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to prioritize your workload.
• Installing rigid pipe or EMT.
• Transformer experience.
• Working with 480 v, 3 phase.
• EV charger Installation.
• Generator Installation.
• Familiarity with PPE and OSHA.
• DC circuits up to 1500v.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician license.
• Experience working on commercial and industrial solar projects.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems design and installation.
• NABCEP Certification.
