Cardiff Lumber is Hiring an Executive Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper Near Edmond, OK

  • About Us: Coop Construction is a well-established lumber and construction company based in Oklahoma City, committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable by inputting, reconciling, and processing vendor invoices for payment.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for both employees and contractors.
  • Prepare necessary schedules and reports as requested by management.
  • Compile month-end and year-end financial statements.
  • Manage the CEO's schedule and calendar, coordinating meetings and appointments
  • Assist in organizing customer meetings at the office
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as needed
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for the CEO
  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, screening and prioritizing incoming communications
  • Provide ancillary support to the CEO as needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Experience in handling payroll tasks and familiarity with payroll systems.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger principles and financial statements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Intuit, and Microsoft Excel.
