Cardinal is looking for candidates to join the Liquid Coatings Production Department at our Decatur Production facility. This is an entry level position, and all required training will be provided. Successful applicants will learn how to produce liquid coatings for a variety of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Safely prepare and operate the appropriate mixing machinery
• Follow formula instructions
• Learn how to put together raw materials
• Ensure that bonding and grounding rules are followed
• Label containers in the correct manner
• Fill solvent drums from the underground storage tanks
• Operate a forklift
• Keep the workspace clean and tidy
• Other duties deemed appropriate by the Production Supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to work closely with others
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 50-55lbs repeatedly
• Must be flexible with the ability to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Follow instructions from supervisory personnel
• Follow company safety policies and practices
